Do you offer enrollment to students with special needs?
Yes, as long as we can accommodate the child’s needs in a group setting without significant adverse effects on the group, e.g., we do not have appropriate staffing for aggressive behavior towards the other students. We value a diverse community, and would love to talk with you about how we can accommodate your child’s specific needs.
Do you accept subsidy programs?

We value a diverse community, and we currently contract with Connections for Children, including the Bridge program and CAPP, and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Please see our 2023-2024 tuition schedule linked here.
Do you offer drop-in care?
At present, our drop-in care services are available to enrolled students and those on the waitlist. However, we anticipate returning to our pre-pandemic drop-in care offerings to include all interested families in mid-2024.
What are your operating hours?
Our school is open 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM Monday- Friday. Our office staff is typically available between 10:00 AM-11:30 AM and 3:30 PM- 5:00 PM. We additionally offer enriching drop-in care outside of school hours on Saturdays from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
How do I begin the enrollment process?
The enrollment process starts with gaining familiarity with our organization.
If you are interested in learning more about our school and the enrollment process, please schedule a tour: https://www.discoveryworldschools.com/tour/.
If, after completing the tour, your family believes we are a great fit, your family can complete the intake form at the QR code, and we will send your family the enrollment packet via DocuSign.
The Physician’s Report can be found on our Admission page: https://www.discoveryworldschools.com/admissions/. Once we receive your complete enrollment packet including the physician’s report, we will review your enrollment packet and reach out with any questions. We typically provide an offer within 10 business days of receipt of the completed enrollment packet.
Our offer may be:
- a waitlist position with or without a guaranteed latest start date, or
- a waitlist position with an alternate schedule than the one requested, or
- the start date and schedule requested if availability exists.
Your family will have 7 days from the date of the written offer to decline the offer and cancel the enrollment process or accept the offer and pay the $250 enrollment fee by cash, check, or credit card. If we do not hear from you within 7 days, we will suspend your application and the offer will expire; to continue the enrollment process, a new offer would need to be made based on the availability at that time.
Is there a waitlist? How long is it?
Many of our classes are wait-listed, and we cannot usually accommodate specific enrollment dates, but we will work to start your student as soon as we can.
What ages do you serve?
We have classrooms for infants as young as 3 months and children up to Kindergarten age.
